Watch: Posable Action Figures – “Cut” [Premiere]

Scotland’s Posable Action Figures are sharing the video for their new single, “Cut”, exclusively here on Netsounds.

Posable Action Figures are Gareth Goodlad (Vocals/Guitar) and John Alexander (Drums/Samples/Backing Vocals) a 2 piece “electrobluespoprock” band from Edinburgh.

The video for ‘Cut’ is their most ambitious project to date and it accompanies the single that came out on the 10th of January.

As with all of their previous video releases, Gareth and John did all the shooting and editing themselves.  Having a band member that runs a music video production business (OnRed) can be useful sometimes!  The video was shot at John’s parent’s house which is in a really secluded spot.  As soon as Gareth saw the house he started planning a cabin in the woods type horror story, an idea that they had been sitting on for a while.  The male and female leads are played by their friends Scott and Linzi who threw themselves into the project that turned into an epic 22 hour day of filming.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) some scenes ended up on the cutting room floor.  This includes a scene with John in a scarily tight fitting  green morph suit.  Perhaps that will be released as a”director’s cut” in the future…

The single, “Cut” is out now to stream/download on Spotify and iTunes.
